Sorry for a double post, but I just read an interesting article about music.
It was all about how with storage sizes increasing and download rates speeding up, music should cost less because the day where you can store EVERY song available is approaching. The comment section was a huge discussion about how much music should cost and how artists should be compensated.
And I thought of a great system.
The whole music industry would have to come together and form one organization, or at least have a shared website, but it'd work. Basically, it'd be similar to Mediafire, where all of the downloads are free, but there are ads. This would raise enough money for the artists, and it wouldn't cost the consumer so they would almost certainly use it. And they could add a premium feature, where for a small monthly fee, you could download the music without ads (and at a higher speed?).
I know I would certainly use such a site. It's like iTunes, only better.

I really like to use Spotify, it has a ton of playlist by categories (as travel, mood, focus..). The only problem I had with Spotify was advertising, then I discovered there were none on Internet version (with Adblock) uhuhuh I listen that at work |

I like catchy & upbeat songs, so Electronic is my genre of choice (though I don't mind most music). I love Daft Punk.

Anything except country and bad songs for me!
I like everything else, I like Daft Punk (Mizu's fault), classical (Tchaikovsky, Chopin), Spanish music, you name it.
What the music industry should do is respect itself. They're releasing bad albums by bad artists and charging too much for them. Perhaps we could appoint a party of critics? I mean, I get that some people like this and that, but lately all music has turned into is cheap pop and super aggro rap

Lol, I had forgotten what is was called. But yeah, I absolutely loved the story. It's special when you can draw in viewers and not have any of the characters every say a single word.
