I love the Beatles, I just haven't bought/downloaded any of their songs yet.
And since we're discuccing music, how do you guys feel about downloading music for free? (Pirating)

As a pirate, my opinion is obviously biased. I understand that what I'm doing isn't okay and I know I can't really justify it. I've heard arguments like "it gets the artist known" and "musicians don't really make money off of song sales anyways" before.

Wow, your thoughts/opinions are so well-made. I'm more of "If I can get it for free, why the f**k would I pay for it?". And I also think of it as a value problem. They want me to pay over a dollar for a song? No. I think that the song is worth maybe 10 or 15 cents. If that's what they charged, and I had frequent access to a Credit Card, I'd probably pay it. Plus, pirating is hard when you have a monthly data cap.
EDIT: And I just remembered by best arguement for pirating: Why should I pay a fee to enjoy something offline, when I can enjoy it for free online? I don't see them charging me 1$ for listening to a song on YouTube, so why should I pay to listen to the song in a place I just don't happen to have an internet connection?

I used to DL but yersterday I've received a mail from HADOPI (french court for illegal things on Internet), I think that if illegal downloading was really handicapping music producer they'll make real illegal host website hunting... I don't DL music, I only listen streaming (Spotify, Grooveshark), I used to DL games but from I discovered Humble Bundle I have ton of games for near to nothing so, I naturally stopped it, Finally, I used to DL movies & series, then I received the Hadopi prevent email.

That's honestly my viewpoint as well. If they were cheaper and I had access to a Credit Card, I'd probably pay for most of my songs. But that's not the case, and free > paid. I don't think I know anyone that pays for their songs....

With certain mobile plans in my area, I could get an internet connection anywhere, and as long as I'm listening to music, it doesn't use my data. And I only have to pay a small monthly fee for that, so I wouldn't pay 12$ to listen to one of my favorite albums in a place where I can't connect.

The way I see it, I'll pay for series and movies and games if they're good and I have plenty of money. If I can't get them any other way I'll obviously pay for them, but I'll discreetly buccaneer it if its a game I want and don't care much for paying. I'll never pay for music, I see no point in it. I'll listen to a song a couple times, get tired of it, and boom. There goes $1-$2. It's dumb.
I'll be getting Netflix soon, so no problems with series and movies. All I'm getting is games, and I don't even do that that much. I'm one of those people that likes to have a physical copy in their shelves. I dunno why, it's just better.

I wouldn't really pirate a game, because they offer more content for the price and they are a lot harder to download. Plus, the game industry has better anti-piracy policies and practices.
When it comes to movies and TV shows, I don't think it's really pirating unless you download it (some companies consider it pirating if you don't have a subscription/pay a fee to watch it online).
I'm also starting to prefer physical copies of games as well. The sizes of games for next-gen consoles are outrageous. For example, Forza 5 (which came as a free DD with my Xbox One) is 40GB. And I have a 20 GB MONTHLY cap.

I prefer physical copies as well. The only time I buy digital on my not-PC consoles (PS3 and Vita) are when there's huge sales.
