So we admins made a karma system here in LB. it's supposed to be like Reddit's upvote/downvote system in where people rate your post/thread and whatnot.
Fun stuff.
However, this feature isn't available on the mobile platforms... We're not sure why, but we'll try to fix that.

And the reason it doesn't work on mobile is beyond our control, sadly.
A little more information on the system:
We're not 100% sure how we're going to use the Karma Points, but the idea right now is that we're going to watch members with negative Karma a bit more closely to make sure they're complying with the rules. Of course, if everyone's Smiting you to oblivion because they disagree with you, please let me know and I can have that fixed and I'll probably warn the smiters.

So I just installed a word filter in here... It's getting some pretty awesome results. The word a-dmin and a-dministrator have been changed to glorious leader and glorious leader.
There will be other little surprises in store.

Edit: My guess is that the host left us ad-free for the beginning so that we would get used to it. Now they're turning on the Ads (funny how the message you get when you use AdBlocker says it's to "support this site") in hopes that we hate them and pay up. |
