They might be "personalized" ads. Or maybe ProBoards has a guy who checks what the majority of the forum is about, then selects a pre-defined set of ads meant to appeal to members of the forum.
This is mostly a gaming/computer forum after all.

I was thinking and I realized that you know, the Wild West isn't the only place with bandits. So I drew some more little bandits in different outfits- pirate, merry man, and desperado. They were surprisingly easy to make, let me tell you that.

I went online in my PC yesterday and the banner looked excellent. How exactly did you make it? I've noticed the background has become a monochrome cubic pattern- did you make that as well?

I drew it out on paper, took a picture, uploaded it to photoshop, made a new layer, and simply traced.
After that all you do is paint bucket and shade some areas. Boom-suddenly you are done.
I made the pattern in the background as well. For that one you have to do it pixel by pixel, making one pixel represent one block. Once the pattern is done, blow it up and voila- your background is finished.

We just added a rolling system here on LB. If you're playing Dungeons and Dragons, a rolling game like 4chan's games, or any game that involves dice, we just made it easier for you.
In order to roll a die (or dice) enter this formula: [ roll=xdy ] without spaces. x is the number of dice you are rolling, and y is the number of sides each die has. Leave the d in there. I will now demonstrate how to use this system.
To roll a single 6 sided die, type in [ roll=1d6 ] without the spaces, like this:
DzvTg6_k1d6
To roll multiple dice, type in however many you want (we'll go with 5) like this:
5d6
Us admins will start making forum games and other stuff in here that incorporates die rolling, so you guys can expect new stuff to pop up over the next few weeks. Last but not least, have fun using this! We made it so you guys wouldn't have to use two sites or actual dice or any of that incovenient stuff. 1d6ยท5d6
