I just wanted to make this thread because I watched most of his movies as a kid. I loved Mrs Doubtfire and Jumanji, and the Bicentennial Man was a masterpiece. Anyone love his work like I did?

You are not alone. Robin Williams was a respectable and amazing performer. For almost 40 years he has entertained us with his eccentricity and voice and put joy into all our hearts. I remember him as an amazing actor and he was the one who inspired me to become an actor and director. Rest his soul.

I think what I liked about him best was his versatility. He was hilarious in Mrs Doubtfire, dramatic in Jumanji, and heart wrenching in Bicentennial Man.

His voice and performabiity was for me. He had so many different characters he can play haha yeah The amount of roles and faces he played was very large. I think I was most struck by the android version of him. The last of his kind, in search of something, anything to make life worth living He showed us what life is about, and that anyone can recognize and achieve those goal no matter who they are

I've seen about 10 people mourning him today online. And all the forum I'm on are very small ones. People really love him.

He wasn't a perfect person, but he was a very good actor. I'll always remember his smile, it's kind of like he cheerfully went on to do his work, happy all the time.

They really do but there are more out there who grieve. Robin taught us that life was was not only fun but enjoyable too. But regardless of that he should always be remembered.

This reminds me of a movie about Bruce Lee's life. In the end, all people were talking about was how he died. His widow said "we should remember him by celebrating his life, not discussing his death"
I think that that is a fine way to be remembered. It doesn't matter how he died or why. What matters is he lived long enough for him to matter to us.

I'm just here to pay my respects. I watched good morning Vietnam by him and I thought he was a good actor.

I enjoyed the Bicentennial Man as well. There aren't many films that evoke feeling and emotions like that one did. I hope he's in a better place.
