Can anyone give me a detailed explanation as to how to win in a conquest using the Romans?? I've tried spamming barracks for legionnaires, but I always run out of food because my opponents keep on slamming stuff, their towers are too powerful, or they train archers to cut me off.
I have a feeling military strategy has nothing to do here and instead you need to manage your supplies effectively.
Can anyone help?

Dude, if you're going to spawn swordsmen, choose the Choson and spam barracks. Their troops are built faster and in this game more troops > better troops

I've never been able to actually win a war here... I once conquered the world, but that wasn't the objective of the game. Now that death and destruction are the goal, I always get surrounded by a thousand archers and get killed multiple times...
