So this has given Mizu and I an idea. Our first project was (technically) this site, so making a comic out of the image below will be our second one.
My idea for this stemmed from some conversations I had with Funnyjunk users; what came up was a cop dying and somehow separating into a corpse and a spirit.
My style for this story will be film noire (in color) and elements from The Spirit. The setting will be in the 50's with a lot of private eye gangster stuff, so that'll be fun to flesh out.
We hope to make this into a series, but first we need the approval of the community. We'll release a one-shot, and see where it goes from there.
We're also looking for good artists, by the way! I can draw some, but I'm not that fast and there are better artists out there.
