This is where we'll list what we think are the top 5 musicians of all time. Feel free to criticize or suggest changes, but don't start arguments over nothing, yeah?
By the way, bands, orchestras, anything can be counted here. It doesn't have to be a single person.
5. Bob Marley:
Reggae, peace and love, fight against the big guy. How can you go wrong?
4. Foo Fighters:
Nirvana's little love child. Grohl us a great frontman, and you have to admit their music videos are the funniest ever.
3. Joe Arroyo:
None of you guys will know him, but he's pretty big in salsa and that sort of music. Even if you don't understand Spanish, you kind of feel the need to dance when you hear his songs.
2. Led Zeppelin:
Ah, rock incarnate. They once rose their bikes through a hotel lobby. You really can't argue with that.
1. Eminem/Slim Shady:
Rap is usually dismissed as ghetto music, unfit for proper people to listen to. And that's just fine with Eminem. He doesn't try to appeal to the masses or change himself to sell more. His songs are all personal, written by him, and his heart goes in every verse. That's what rap is really about.
Anyone agree with my list? I'll gladly explain my choices further. Who do you guys think should be in the top 5?
