So far I've heard a lot about Samurai Champloo and Cowboy Beebop (am I sensing a trend here? Insert warrior class, insert nonsense word)
What do you guys think? Also, what should I watch?

I would tell you to watch Gantz. Since you guys told me to watch Hellsing, only gory anime has done it for me. Gantz is very gory, disturbing, and a heartwarming story of boy dies, boy meets girl, boy kills aliens. A classic masterpiece.

I like anything that isn't moe or boring slice of life. Stuff like Death Note is pretty interesting.
And raven, I've heard of Gantz. A masterpiece, you say?
