I was browsing 4chan when I noticed a bunch of threads were talking about today being the day Scotland votes for its independence from Britain. I'm not sure about the results because of the sheer amount of trolls, but I did find out the results will be up for sure around 2am.
Anybody interested in the outcome? I know for sure that this is the biggest thing I've heard so far in international news, so I'm pretty psyched to see the results.

Well, that was disappointing. It would have been pretty interesting to have Scotland become free. Who knows, maybe they could have actually made it economically.... But that's not really likely. Britain does too much for them nowadays.

I heard that even the Scottish bank isn't Scottish anymore. Scotland's oil reserves are also locked into England for 10+ years. It seems to me that if Scotland had become independent, it would have gone through a really rough time.
That is to say, if they could go through it at all.

Independence wouldn't help Scotland at all.
