I am also in need of employment. But with a full lifestyle already, I guess that it'd be a bad move. I'm not so sure about that. Don't know why.

Hey everyone. Haven't introduced myself. I'm a 17-year-old wannabe GameDev. I'm polishing up my first final project named SawShot for release as a Win8 App and on itch.io. I have several years experience doing graphical work in GIMP. I enjoy drawing in clean cartoon styles. I've got about 6 months experience with Unity/"Javascript" (Unityscript) I also run a YouTube channel focusing on a technical minecraft let's play. Oh yeah, I've been working as a dishwasher at a pizza place for a year and a half. If anyone has a gamedev/graphical/code job, please contact me. Seriously. Get me out of there. Thanks for introducing yourself! I wish I would have taken my programming seriously a few years ago, I would have had years of experience as well lol. I love your art style, by the way! Quick question about Unity and JS. A lot of people that that C# is what you should be using in Unity, but JS is easier to learn. Do you feel limited by JS or does it work fine? Any job is better than no job lol. At this point, I'm about to take anything. I just need some money :/

Find a job, Mizu. Start somewhere. Or your life will be a waste after college.

The javascript in Unity is actually "livescript" but was re-named and made more similar to java. It doesn't limit me in any way. The only real difference is syntax. The only problem is more tutorials are in C#, both for unity and across the web. I wanted to learn how to do things myself anyways. I didn't put much thought into the decision, I just went with the one that seemed to do what I want.

I wish I had any job, to be honest. I'm starved for cash and I need a bunch of stuff: a desktop, a tablet, a laptop, software :/ Being a 3D animator sucks if you don't have the equipment...

Well, among all the things that i suck at, introducing myself comes close to the top of the list... And if it wasn't enough, english isn't my native language. I am brazilian. I lived for five years in Japan and also learned some Japanese to the point i could chit-chat with people, so, i have self-confidence when it comes to learning new languages, but, the relevant one for this place would be the last one i've learned: Python.
I'm an aspiring (really?) game programmer and i'll be getting into college next year OR 2016, but why wait until then to join the fun right? So, i'm up to anything programming related and of course specially Python, but i'm willing to learn others languages, technologies, programs, etc...Other things i enjoy very much in life are music, playing guitar, action-rpgs, books and writing, and girls with hot bodies....
When it comes to experience at game development, i do lack it, but i think it's worth mentioning that i used (long time ago) to play around with the RPG-Maker but i gave it up cuz i wanted to see the toons killing things on real time rather than taking turns to do it... My game preferences are action-rpg style, like PoE, D3, you know? .... Also enjoy first person shooters, MMORPGS, Poker.... I enjoy any kind of gaming but hack and slash/rpg styles are my favorite...
I think i wrote too much.... Well guys, i haven't used my english consistently for a while so it might take a little time to sharpen it again... Really sorry if your reading experience felt weird at times...
That's it....
Hugs

I know a tiny bit of Japanese and really want to learn more in the future. I know a bit of Python myself! Though it's been years, so I can't remember much... I'm also a Action-RPG/Shooter person lol. And your English is fine!

Alright.
Here I am, Vizor. I've now registered to the forum.
I'm Ivan The Mouse. You can call me Ivan or Mouse. It would be hard for me to give a direct answer to the question "Can you introduce yourself?", but all I can say is that I'm a man of many interests. That's all.
