GAME NIGHT!Inspired by Doc, and another forum I use, I decided to create a Community Game Night! It won't be tonight (thank god), but would probably be a weekly thing. How it works:Every week, a few days in advanced, a group of us forum goers decide on a game/console we all have, then play it that Friday/Saturday night. If we don't all have the same game, we'll just have to play without one person. Sometimes members won't be able to make game nights because of life stuff. To be in this group, you have to sign up. Rules:- Don't sign up if you can't make most game nights
- If we use voice-chat, be civil, quiet, and avoid swears/curses
- Don't assume you're the leader for any reason
- Don't let Game Nights affect your forum behavior and vice-versa
- If you read these rules, and agree to them, put "CGN" as your passcode on your form
- Don't spam me or the leaders of Game Night for acceptance
- You can quit the group at any time for any reason, don't stay if you're not having fun
- Please don't insist on playing the same game. If you want to only play one game, go make your own thread/group
- If you don't follow all of these rules or fail to show up at 5 or more Game Nights (without a legitimate reason), then you will most likely be kicked from the group

This sounds cool, but we'll have to inevitably play a limited amount of games since not everyone has the same games and systems.
I'll sign up in a sec. If you know anyone that would like to participate, please bring them in as a larger member base=bigger chance of there being people that have your game

Well, everyone on this forum obviously has at least limited access to a computer with an internet connection, so we could play a lot of in-browser games. I just got done with a game I've been playing for the past hour and a half.
Edit: Oh, and Urban, I updated Nano.

That.... is actually impressive. If we make an official Game Night thread every week or something and post the games we'll be playing, this will make it all official and we can do this organized-like.

If it gets big enough, I propose it gets its own subsection in the Video Game section. That way we could have the weekly threads, Application, and suggestions all neatly organized. And I guess since Total Reverse made it up and is in charge of it, he could possibly maybe be in charge of moderating it... |
