I may be retired with Yugioh, but that doesn't make me instantly dumb.

um ok?
Anyways, I don't really feel like getting expensive cards only for them to be useless a few months later. I'd rather just get on DEVPRO and have ALL the cards lol

Lol back when drulers were a thing, I dueled some pleb on DEVPRO, and he told me that he bought a $700 dragon ruler deck and was owning everyone. I bet he's crying a river now, poor sucker.

Enjoy wasting your money. Is it a waste if I enjoy it? Tins are actually a great way to get the good cards for a small amount of money... I dunno what Vizor is talking about. Anyways, anybody want to get on DEVPRO and duel?

Nor do I see it dying.

Because you're new to the game yes! I began playing in 2006. Became Baws in 2010.. Yea took me long enough to understand the game and end my 60-card decks era. lol

Well, its not dying per se. It's just evolving into something weird. Pendulums are strange creations, but as long as I duel people that don't have them, I'm good.

Pendulums aren't even that bad, especially yet. You either have to put a crapton of them in your deck or you're relying on pure luck. I have a pair of pendulum cards from the starter deck, and I've been able to use them in maybe 5 or 10% of my duels. And if you have a good field, you can still get over the swarm of monsters. Even when pendulums become more widespread, there's going to be cards that counter them, just like we have ways to get over XYZs and Synchros.
