Who in here likes playing Civ IV? Inb4 Civ V is better I like Civilization 4. I think I logged in over 300+ hours on it in my laptop... Who's your favorite leader?

Bismark, dude. That productivity and those panzers... I think you should just forget cultural and space race victories, just take over everyone lol

Civ V is better. Just kidding. I've hardly played the Civ games. I played 5 for a few hours and loved it, but it just isn't a game I can sink a whole lot of time into.

It's a really well made game and I think the servers are still up, so you can still play online for more challenge (the AI means well, but is easy to work around)

Duuuude I love Civ 4. I play as Alexander the Great, but I think there are better leaders out there (dunno which)
My strategy is to crush everything and keep vassals to fight for me. Speaking of which, what Civilization game had vassal states? The Civ 4 DLC, or Civ 5?

Yes indeed, Bismark and Gandhi all the way. And I think vassal states were introduced in the Civ IV expansions, dunno which one

I agree with admin, cultural victories are boring. I want to take something over and make it mine, not sing and dance and take over the world with poems...

I agree with glorious leader, cultural victories are boring. I want to take something over and make it mine, not sing and dance and take over the world with poems... this guy knows what's up. Was anyone disappointed that ICBM's don't obliterate cities? I nuked Genghis Khan's capital three times and it didn't do anything...

You don't seem to understand the situation here. If you're playing against Gandhi, he will turn into the most vicious warlord in all of humanity. He'll mass produce cities with barracks with his steroid workers, and spam units like crazy. I'm always wary of attacking him because he stacks like, 20 units in one square.
Bottom line: kill them all before your walls are overrun

Yeah, I've heard that Gandhi is ridiculous. But nukes?

Yeah, I've heard that Gandhi is ridiculous. But nukes? I was experimenting. Either way it didn't work. Automated infantry was much more effective. Oh, and you can raze cities. You wanna put up resistance? I'll burn down your infrastructure and salt the ground.
