What the heck are those. I have no idea what Tellarknights are. Or Shaddolls. Or Quilpoths. Are the Burning Abyss like Mermails, but on fire? What is going on here???Time to learn, young grasshopper. And Burning Abyss is based off of Dante's Inferno, I believe. Wait, what? That sounds amazing, I love Dante's Inferno. I'm looking it up right this instant.

Theyre all level 3, nuke themselves, get effects when sent to the grave, and are all dark? HMMM... I say, DAD could be killer here. Maybe if I add lightsworns- wait, can I even? Hmmm. I must investigate I like how Dante and Virgil are there as well lol

I heard that now you can't draw if you go first. That's not a minor change, that could mess with some people's consistency and help out those that don't need hands, like Infernity. I suppose I can live with that, but the change is still not minor. I like going second either way.
I'm guessing X-Sabers are now completely weak in this meta? I mean, if the Burning Abyss are as good as they are and they're only level 3, I'm afraid of the other decks...

I would say its safe to assume that the Sabers are dead for now. Who knows, Konami has a habit of bringing back old decks and making them OP. I'm going to go with just these few:
-Harpies -Machina Gadgets (mostly for fun) -Fire Fist -Psychics (again, for fun, for they could be powerful) -Hieratics (these guys could be competitive)
I'll try out Burning Abyss for two reasons: I love the Inferno, and they seem to be creative and powerful on top of having to be played strategically. This isn't a win-button deck, its a careful plan and execute deck, and I love those.
On that note, what decks will you use now, doctor? I know Mizu is using Monarchs now that Steroid Caius came out, and he's supplementing them with Ghostricks instead of frogs like a good little casual lol.

The reason for the change makes complete sense.

Frogs don't let you set Spells/Traps or something like that, right? Ghostricks let me get Mega Caius' effect like nothing.

I retired to. That's obviously the whole reason i sold my entire yugioh collection (except my best deck) for like $400,-... (excluding shipping costs.) Practically a Playstation 4 Haha xD, But i'm not planning to buy one soon. I'm still experiencing more than enough fun from my Playstation 3. Oh yeah, and paying 50 bucks a year for online play i don't like...
To return back to the yugioh part: I've recently visited a tournament from boredom with my DemiseDarkGaia OTK deck... Almost the entire tournament i suffered from brick hands... only 1 match i did actually managed to win... (it was against Six Samurai) but that 'beginner's' deck wasn't even finished. I killed him with double dark gaia at 6500 atk. And an off-tournament duel, i'd won from (his friends Lightsworns) (that one was also a beginner), with Dark Gaia at 7200 atk, A Gorz Token at 2800, Gorz, Leo Guardbeast, and Crimson Blader. that was the only time my deck managed to preform a succesfull FTK.
Now, i don't like the deck anymore so i'm changing it to Diamond Dude Turbo. And i think i won't be visiting tourny's anymore.. unless the game progresses a bit... Most of my friends shifted to Vanguard and i'm not planning... So instead i'm on the path of videogames and started gameplay uploading.
Still, i'm keeping an eye out on pojo since i hold the alien guide... + to harrass&troll on pojo of course. ^^ Now... i only play yugioh when i'm really really bored...

Is the alien guide even being used, man? I don't think aliens can come back with these new decks coming out.

It's not popular but yes, it's still being used. Finding one or 2 comments once in a while. Aliens are finding themselves currently in the same situation as Evilswarms.
