I don't really remember, and if she did, I don't know why. Eragon was in his 20s and very immature compared to Elven children. Look at what happened with Galbatorix. Eragon knew that as long as the dragons were bred/resided in Alagaësía, there would be a bunch of evil people willing to do anything to get their hands on that power. And Eragon figured that after enough attempts, someone would eventually get past his defenses. I dunno. After you explaining stuff, I've gained some closure... but it still hurts, man. I don't want these feels...

I know it hurts, I cried when I read the healing. But from pain we gain experience and understanding, the experience and understanding turn into wisdom and compassion, and finally we live happy lives when we have wisdom and understanding; experience and compassion. And as an even added bonus, the pain of sadness and lose reminds us to live those lives we have built.

I still didn't like the ending, there was a bunch of stuff that just shouldn't have happened. That still won't stop me from reading anymore Eragon stuff if Paolini makes it, though

I'll agree that the Eragon books had flaws (I would have personally liked to see Eragon beat Murtagh more). But it is pretty good. I also hope that he makes more books.

Paolinj needs to make another series with either Eragon or a similar character. And never touch the film industry again. That movie must never be mentioned.

The-movie-that-shall-not-be-named was horrific. And after making a bad movie, they didn't even have the decency to finish the series.

I think that if they had made a sequel to the movie, things would have easily gone more downhill from there
