When I saw the title, I was like This guy knows what's up. Those books were freaky Don't even bring up "The Real Barenziah, Book II" from Morrowind... What has been seen cannot be unseen.

But then I took an arrow in the knee But my browser crashed and I lost it. Anyways, if you thought the Skyrim version was bad, read the Daggerfall version: (Read at own risk!) Here it is...

Skyrim is awesome, oblivion has a better story, in oblivion you cant sprint, but you can enchant your clothes and armour and wear both at the same time, the gladiator pit is awesome.. But join the dark brotherhood for the most fun quest ever. And in oblivion you can enchant any item with any spell or enchantment, if you enchant any item with invisibility you stay invisible. Only bad thing is you have to repair your weapons but its a really great game

Fallout 3 and New Vegas have prepared me for constant weapon repair. I think Oblivion sounds awesome- I'm definitely ordering it now.
Also, they told me that the Imperial City was actually big, not like Solitude in Skyrim; it was a trading capital but had only 10 houses. The people I've talked to say that Cyrodill is gigantic. I'm eager to explore a city for once!

I liked Skyrim but I felt it was a bit like mash instead of a bold game. It fed me missions like fetch quests and "go here, kill people, come back". The best missions so far have been the last Thieves Guild quest where you had to kill Mercer (lots of trap deactivation, there were some puzzles, and that throne room was great) and the Victoria Vicci assassination. I think Bethesda can do far better than Skyrim, I though the quests would be actually difficult and involve some thinking, but that's not really the case....

My hopes for the next Bethesda game (*cough* IT BETTER BE F*CKING FALLOUT 4 *cough*) is a better combat system. Bethesda doesn't seem to understand "bullet sponge enemies at higher levels =/= fun gameplay (or sword sponges, I guess it depends on how you look at it)

Bethesda doesn't seem to understand "bullet sponge enemies at higher levels =/= fun gameplay (or sword sponges, I guess it depends on how you look at it) That's what I hate about Borderlands 2 after a while. You get these super badass guns and powers, and it takes a whole clip and a half to kill one enemy.

I think the combat's fine, you ned difficulty as you level up, otherwise you'd own the world and it'd be boring. What the next Bethesda game (Fallout 4) needs is an awesome story, decent visuals, and involved gameplay. I need to be drawn in, there need to be puzzles and speech challenges and wonderful things to see and do, like in Oblivion and Morrowind.
Also, lots of guns. That was one of the few reasons I like New Vegas, that you could shoot a super mutant with an Anti-Materiel Rifle with explosive rounds and watch its body fly off in three different directions. That gun made hunting Deathclaws fun, I swear to you. I'm the king of the irradiated desert!
